ANN DEMEULEMEESTER

Ann Demeulemeester, as part of the so-called "Antwerp Six", launched her eponymous label in 1985. She held her first catwalk show in Paris in 1991 and became one of the first designers to showcase both men's and women's collections in one presentation. The brand draws inspiration from the balance of light and dark to elevate the modern wardrobe with a considered dose of drama. Especially the colour black, plays an important role in the collections of Ann Demeulemeester. Today the brand is led by a design team with a modern edge to the house's signature codes.
