ACNE STUDIOS

In 1996, Acne Studios was established in Stockholm, by founder and Creative Director Jonny Johansson. The fashion house covers men's and women's ready-to-wear clothing, footwear, bags and accessories. Acne's fashion philosophy is to produce a 'framework for individuality by making simple, functional clothing that easily fits into the wearer's existing wardrobe. ACNE is an acronym for Associated Computer Nerd Enterprises that was later changed to Ambition to Create Novel Expressions.
